Hi, I'm Ashmita. I am 16 years old, and I founded Voices Left Unseen because I went through something similar during my own journey. Navigating those difficult moments alone made me realize how vital it is to have an outlet—writing genuinely helped me through it.
My core motivation behind VLU stems from a simple belief: humans can never be perfect; our imperfections and feelings are what make us human. I wanted to build a sanctuary where teens can express themselves freely without the pressure of being fixed.
